In order to vote in the Illinois primary elections, one must be registered to vote on or before February 16, 2004. If you are not already a registered voter, it is easy to become one. Pick up a registration form at the College Democrats’ cubicle, which is located in the RSO office on the 2nd floor in the Illini Union. Complete the form and the College Dems will process it for you. Also, electronic voter registration stations will soon be accessible near the ATM machines at the southeast entrance to the Illini Union. Alternatively, our friends from Champaign County Health Care Consumers will conduct voter registration outside next week’s GEO General Membership Meeting. Note, that the latter option will not permit participation in the Illinois primaries but will enable you to vote in the November general election.
