Currently a number of UIUC international graduate students have experienced difficulty visiting families overseas, attending academic conferences abroad, and continuing their studies without interruption. The University has hired a health care consultant to examine the costs and benefits of various health insurance plans in an effort to procure quality, low cost health insurance for UI students.
